Bangladeshi B2B commerce platform ShopUp, in collaboration with Sarona Asset Management and Australian Development Investments (ADI Australia), facilitated Project Arohi, a leadership development programme aimed at strengthening the capabilities of ShopUp employees. Delivered in partnership with the Bangladesh Youth Leadership Centre (BYLC), the eight-session programme helped employees build skills in communication, stakeholder management, data-driven decision-making, adaptive leadership, and workplace resilience, while deepening their understanding of gender equality, diversity, and social inclusion (GEDSI).
Queentries Regar, technical assistance manager at Sarona Asset Management, conducted sessions alongside other mentors. Ataur Rahim Chowdhury, CEO of ShopUp Bangladesh, called the initiative “a long-term investment in ShopUp’s future,” saying it gave employees “the skills and perspectives to lead more effectively and contribute to building the market leaders of tomorrow.”
