2023 Impact Report cover

Sarona’s 2023 Impact Report highlights steady progress in advancing gender equality, climate action, and economic growth across emerging markets. This year, our SGGM Program has supported over 268,000 jobs, with 40% held by women. Since its launch, the program has created more than 173,000 new jobs, exited 70 companies, and has 148 active portfolio companies.

Gender equality is a core commitment, and Sarona is proud to join the 2024-2027 2X Challenge. Currently, 81% of fund managers and 70% of portfolio companies meet the 2X Criteria – our 2025 target is for 95% of funds to be aligned with the 2X Challenge benchmark. Climate action is equally prioritised; 43% of fund managers have integrated climate KPIs. We have also begun tracking GHG emissions to strengthen our portfolio strategy further. Together with our fund managers, their portfolio companies, investors, and industry partners, we are advancing lasting positive impacts for people and the planet.

Sarona Asset Management, a global pioneer in impact investing, is dedicated to generating competitive financial returns alongside positive social and environmental outcomes.
