“The IA 50 is built to filter out the noise that is growing louder in impact investing and help investors focus on deep, meaningful impact.”
Sarona is delighted to once again be selected to the ImpactAssets 50 this year. The IA 50—released on 26 February and now in its eighth year—is a showcase of 50 private capital fund managers that deliver social and environmental impact as well as financial returns. The IA 50 is the first publicly available online database for impact investors, family offices, financial advisors and institutional investors and is meant to demonstrate a wide range of impact investing activities across geographies, sectors and asset classes.
Sarona, along with the 49 other fund managers on the list, met the IA 50’s in-depth review criteria that was developed to ensure the list includes a diverse set of firms with experience in the field. The list is a gateway into the world of impact investing for investors and their financial advisors, offering an easy way to identify experienced impact investment firms.
“As impact investing continues its inexorable rise, it is critical to provide investors with a curated, objective evaluation of impact fund managers,” said Jennifer Kenning, CEO and Co-Founder of Align Impact, and IA 50 Senior Investment Advisor. “The IA 50 is built to filter out the noise that is growing louder in impact investing and help investors focus on deep, meaningful impact.”
This is the eighth consecutive year that Sarona has been included on this list. Sarona’s goal has always been to seek superior returns by supporting entrepreneurs in Frontier and Emerging Markets. We do so by identifying local PE professionals who encourage progressive business strategies and operate to the highest ethical, social and environmental standards. ImpactAssets’ recognition is an important validation of our activities.
