Sarona’s success is highlighted in a recent Blended Finance report – 15 November 2016

Development Initiatives has just published a report called Blended finance: Understanding its potential for Agenda 2030.
Sarona was delighted to see that the paper includes a case study describing the success of our collaborative efforts with the Canadian and the US governments. Together, we deployed $150mm of sustainable development capital. The support of public finance improved the risk-return profile of our fund and made it possible for Sarona to mobilise significant amounts of private capital. Sarona and its investors seek to generate private equity returns from investing in fast growing, and profitable, companies across Africa, Asia and Latin America. The Sarona case study can be found on page 23.
