Sarona is currently recruiting for the position of MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATE.  The Marketing and Communications Associate will report to the Head of Business Development and Investor Relations, Europe and will be a member of the Business Development and Investor Relations team.   This position is a full time, permanent position located in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The Marketing and Communications Associate has the following accountabilities and responsibilities:

  • Updating and drafting content for marketing and presentation materials for prospective and existing investors and ensuring that all materials are accurate, kept up-to-date and consistent across different documents
  • Completing and coordinating production of RFPs (request for proposals) and DDQs (due diligence questionnaires)
  • Drafting content and updating Sarona’s website and LinkedIn
  • Editing and proofreading quarterly investor reports
  • Coordinating and contributing to writing and editing of Sarona’s annual Values Report
  • Reporting and updating Sarona’s information for external partners and platforms and ensuring information is up-to-date
  • Providing support with ad-hoc requests from existing and prospective investors, Salesforce updates and outreach to prospective investors
  • Coordinating external marketing, communication and branding relationships
  • Implementing, and periodically refreshing, existing brand and style guidelines and ensuring firm-wide adherence to existing guidelines
  • Ensuring that compliance requirements are followed at all times
  • Time-permitting, supporting PR functions to increase Sarona’s visibility and working on newsletters, press articles, press releases and various announcements

Required qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in communications, investor relations or marketing roles within financial industry with prior experience updating investor materials and presentations
  • Strong writing skills with a specific focus on the investment concepts
  • A keen understanding of, and interest in, Sarona’s core areas: private equity, emerging markets and impact investing
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with focus on accuracy, consistency, timeliness and quality in all deliverables
  • A multi-tasker, with a proven track record of working well under pressure and managing time effectively to coordinate inputs from a variety of sources to deliver high-quality, comprehensive materials that meet the needs of users
  • Confident, independent worker who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Quick learner who responds positively to feedback and can incorporate this feedback to enhance output
  • Technical proficiency with MS Office including a high level of competency and experience creating PowerPoint presentations
  • Excellent command of the English language, native speaker would be an asset
